Slacker By Choice

Sometimes, I just don’t get the point of certain social gatherings. I guess I just can’t get the concept of it. And my friends take it as an insult when I really don’t see the point of attending one. My best friend wants to go to New York with me and a couple of other friends. But we have hardly any money to blow, so I ask what are going there to do in the first place. She says just to hang out and stuff. But can’t we already do that where we are? I just don’t see the point in going all the way to another state to do something that simple. So naturally she gets offended and starts getting bitchy. It’s not my fault that I don’t understand this concept, is it?
