Slacker By Choice

My father dropped out of high school his junior year, so its not surprising to me that my college life isn’t considered a good enough life style. He’s all about about the here and now instead of the future. He thinks I’ve been wasting my life away with college and that things would be better if I just got a minimum wage job like him, I suppose. Sometimes my father actually makes me feel like I wish I was nonexistent. Or at least nonexistent in his eyes. Because for as long as I do exist, I’m looked at as a failure for wanting to be successful. If I’m a burden for that, let me know now so I can leave this fucking house. Because it sure as hell isn’t a home.
