Permanent break up

Growing up with divorced parents was not a big deal to me. But in the back of my mind I always wondered what life would be like if they were still married right now? Would have a better life? Would I be closer to my father? All of these “what ifs” go through my head. Honestly I always felt envious of people who are fortunate enough to live with their parents in a happy home. I’m not bitter about my parents divorce though. I was only 3 years old, so I grew up used to it. Iv’e came a long way, even with them being separated. I just wonder every once in a while, “what if?”
