We all know that typing L!K3 T4!$ is highly annoying. I also hate it when people spell words incorrectly, and it doesn’t serve a purpose. This is what I mean by serving a purpose. When texting or typing into something that has a character limit, you may shorten some words so you can fit as much as you have to say. For example:
* Ur = Your, You’re
* tmw = Tomorrow
* wyd? = What are you doing
* luv = Love
* kno = know
* tho = though
Things like that, I don’t have a problem with. These words are shortened for a reason and hold an understandable purpose. The problem comes into play when someone respells a word, and it is not shortened. And on top of that, it will still hold the same amount of letters as the original word. Take for instance:
* You = yhu
* hi = hai
* baby = babi
* & = &&
I notice this a lot, especially in the younger crowds. People are stupefying themselves for no reason. Please stop. Read a book.
