Black
By Darnell Underwood
B. is for the blood and bruises our ancestors had to endure.
L. is for the love our ancestors had for the children of the future.
A. is for all of us who are thankful for what they have done.
C. is for colored, a word meant to stop us, but we still won.
K. is for kids today who appreciate, but may sometimes forget why they celebrate. And if you only choose one time of the year to do it, February is the date.
Black History is all about who you are today.
If you don’t know Black History then you don’t know yourself.
You must know your past if you wish to grow true wealth.
Take for example, Obama, MLK, and Malcom X.
Will you be next?
